Community Litter Pick

Free to attend! Join us to litter pick with us and help clean up Romsey! We have litter pickers and bags, but if you have your own, you are encouraged to bring them. The litter pickers have kindly been donated by Test Valley Borough Council. Please let us know if you are coming, so that we can know rough numbers.
Meet by 10.15am to leave at 10.30am. Back to the shop for 12pm. Get 15% off your first coffee and cake when you get back… Treat yourself.
Litter-picking is an easy and fun way to get active, improve your wellbeing, and take care of the environment on your doorstep.
Equipment: We have litter pickers, but if you have your own, we’d love for you to bring them. Please wear heavy duty gloves (think gardening gloves). We will have hand sanitiser back at the shop and there’s a toilet too, for washing and using! Please bring high vis vests if you have, as we may walk along the roads – general health and safety! If you have any bags or bag hoops, too, the more the merrier. Sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
We do also sell Waterhaul folding litter pickers, litter picking hoops and canvas bags, if you’d like to buy the gear! All made from recycled and upcycled products.
Location will change each time (unless the area needs a pick again!).
We will then collect and count what we have picked, so we can keep track of our progress.
