ServeDirect
ServeDirect is a UK charity based in Romsey. Jesse’s parents set up SD with another couple and it is the reason her family moved to Uganda. Its objective is ‘the prevention or relief of poverty and or hardship anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income, be self-sufficient and the opportunity to reach their potential. It partners with local individuals in Uganda to help them acheive sustainability with their projects. ServeDirect concentrates on projects focusing on education and health, as it believes the whole community, and not just a few individuals, can benefit from the input and improvements.
