Description
Coarse wheatbran is an easy and convenient way of adding important dietary fiber (approximately 80% insoluble and 20% soluble) to your diet. Packed with nutrition, it is also a good source of protein, iron, and B Vitamins.
It is a byproduct of the milling process used to transform wheat into flour, and is therefore frequently also known as Miller’s Bran.
Suggested uses: Toasted and sprinkled over fruits, cereals and yogurts; into shakes and smoothies; as a flour replacement for breads, muffins and other baked goods; added into soups, gravies or casseroles; even in pancake and waffle batter.
