The story behind the postcard: July 2022, we had a pop up shop in the centre of Romsey. As Jess was standing at the counter doing some work, a group of adults walked past. They wondered what Lemon and Jinja was, and as they continuued to walk on by, one of the group said ‘oh it’s just one of those filly uppy shop things’… They kepy walking and never came in, but Jess was determined to use the phrase for something in the shop!
Designed by Jess, the slogan ‘voted best in England 2023’ references us winning ‘Best Sustainable Lifestyle Business’ in England 2023, by Muddy Stilletos.
