The scrunchies are an assortment of sizes, made from fabric scraps from other sewing projects.
Handmade by Susan Opok in Uganda. Jess first met her in 2011 and they have always chatted about setting up a business together. When Lemon & Jinja started they created Nyabo, a kitenge business making bespoke products. The pattern is called ‘Kitenge’ and is East African. Each sale from the Nyabo range makes a huge impact to Susan and the work she does in Uganda.
Take care when washing. Oh, and be kind, that’s always nice. Wash at 30 celsius max with similar colours. Do not tumble try, do not iron, do not dry clean.
